D'MET LABORATORY (Darpan's Metallurgical Laboratory) is a well-established metal testing laboratory equipped with modern facilities to deliver accurate, dependable results to its customers. The company was renamed and inaugurated on 6 April 2008 at its Bhandup (W) premises, continuing a testing practice that began in 1992 as Venus Universal Laboratory.
Its services were accredited by inspection authorities such as Lloyd's and Bureau Veritas (BV). The laboratory carries out mechanical, metallurgical and chemical testing — by both wet and spectro methods — under a scope covering about 22 tests, with trained and competent technical manpower. Today it serves around 250 customers across Indian industry.
